I was excited to speak at the Chilliwack Creative Commission's event, Pecha Kucha along with nine other entrepreneurs from Chilliwack. Pecha Kucha allows speakers twenty slides for twenty seconds!
I spoke about the Sto:lo history and economy, and shared with the audience information about our family businesses. To learn more about the event, you can visit the Chilliwack Creative Commission website.
iSto:lo was excited to work with the staff at Sto:lo Community Futures to organize the first Sto:lo Business Tradeshow. There were 30 Indigenous businesses and 10 sponsoring partners set up to meet the business community from throughout the Sto:lo territory.
