SHARING OUR STORIES

Stó:lō from Sts’alis and Tsimpshian from Metlakatla, Francine is an established Indigenous entrepreneur. She owns three successful small businesses in the Coast Salish territory in BC - the Cheam Trading Post, the Sto:lo Seafood Company, and iSto:lo Media Solutions.  Francine is responsible for the overall operation of these family-owned businesses.

The renowned group performed at the Vancouver Olympics in 2010, was showcased at The Reach Gallery Museum in Abbotsford B.C., and was also featured in the publication Man Turned to Stone: T’xwelátse.

Francine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and anthropology from the University of British Columbia and was named valedictorian of the Ch'nook Indigenous Business Management Program through the Sauder School of Business at UBC.

Post! Or, post with intention! Why do you want to reach your community through social media, and what do you want to share as the company grows, goes through hard times, or celebrates the good times. How do you tell posts and picture are working?  What are the right social media channels to use or should you use all of them?

Your company brand is your story through time - the past, present and future of your company.  It is what people remember about your company.  It is what people think, feel, and say when they see your logo.  A brand is a relationship that is based on trust with your community. It supports advertising, inspires employees, and builds a strong customer base.
